Ceremony
How far in advance should we book you?
I recommend booking 6-12 months in advance, especially if you're planning a date during peak season (May-October) since those weekends tend to fill up quickly. However, if your timeline is shorter, please reach out as soon as possible to inquire about your date.
Are you available on our date, and how do we book?
Confirmaion of availability is the first step! Fill out the contact form on this site and I will confirm my availability right away with next steps for you to secure your booking.
Do you attend the rehearsal?
Though optional, a rehearsal is a great opportunity to work out the details of the ceremony for smooth, stress-free transitions on your wedding day. I highly recommend it, especially for ceremonies with a large bridal party.
Do you have an emergency backup plan?
Your peace of mind is my priority. I maintain a close-knit network of experienced and trusted officiants in the GTA. In the rare event of an unforeseen emergency, a qualified backup will step in, and your custom script will be seamlessly transferred, ensuring your wedding day proceeds as smoothly as possible.
Premarital Coaching
Do we have to do coaching to hire you as an officiant?
No, the coaching is completely optional. I offer both services independently or combined as a package.
Why should we consider pre-marital coaching?
Premarital coaching is designed to help couples prepare for marriage. The goal is to equip you and your partner with tools to strengthen the relationship and build a solid foundation for a lasting marriage.
What is the coaching process like?
Each premarital coaching program begins with a relationship assessment followed by a series of guided sessions which are designed to strengthen the foundation of your relationship before marriage.
What topics are covered in the coaching sessions?
The coaching sessions are personalized for each couple based on the results of their assessment, however, some often covered include: Communication Styles, Financial Alignment, Family Expectations, Intimacy and Connection, Life Goals & Expectations. The goal is to help you feel more confident and prepared for everything married life may bring.
How far in advance should we start coaching?
The short answer is: the earlier, the better! I recommend couples begin their coaching sessions at least 6 months before the wedding date. I recognize this is not always possible and will happily work with your schedule to facilitate your sessions.
